I strive to create functional and decorative pots that invite use and enjoyment on a daily basis - pots that encourage the user to slow down, to enjoy the sensual quality of a hand-made form, to discover the sacred in the ordinary rituals of daily life. Asian and Zen aesthetic inspire my wheel-thrown and hand-built work - simple forms that are frequently altered and incorporate calligraphic brushwork, seals and stamps.
